Marketing Manager

Position summary

The Marketing Manager will focus on developing the Marketing strategy, plan, and delivery of tactics to support the commercial growth and the communication goals of the vertical business pillar to which they are aligned. This role will encompass marketing strategy development as well as marketing execution. Whilst the Marketing Manager role will be aligned to and report into the vertical business pillar, they will be part of the growing Envision Pharma Group Marketing Community. A community which will enable the sharing of specific skills, expertise, and marketing best practice, contributing to marketing innovations for the company and serve as a development path for marketing individuals to contribute and grow their skills across EPG.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to and translate the business pillar commercial plan into a marketing and communications strategy with appropriate budget
• Create the marketing plan, with tactics and KPIs to support achievement of the marketing strategy and the overall commercial plan
• Create strong marketing campaigns which drive lead generation and introductions to the company, support organic growth and overall client relationship management and retention – demonstrating how we solve client problems
• Lead the execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish. Drive collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging the right internal and brand process to craft copy, create the call to action, oversee campaign deployment and conduct analysis, with iteration based on results
• Gather and communicate on key competitor, customer and industry insights which are relevant to the business pillar to inform strategy and tactics – become the internal voice of the customer
• Working with pillar leads and subject matter experts, create an annual thought-leadership content plan to support product and service lines goals, pillar expansion and client retention
• Produce promotional, educational, and thought-leadership materials working with subject matter experts and Creative Lab to create
• Maintain presence on relevant industry pillar platforms e.g., ISMPP, MAPS, ISPOR, HCA,PM Society, MM&M and find additional platforms (including PR, Awards, and sponsorship) and identify appropriate speaking opportunities for Envision subject matter experts
• Connect with influential pillar media outlets, journalists and other third platforms to place stories about the company, pillar capabilities and subject matter leaders
• Manage and evaluate performance of annual marketing plan and goals, to drive campaign efficiency improvements including analyzing and interpreting data and metrics from SEO, PPC, email and other outreach marketing activities
• Work with other members of the marketing community to push forward marketing best practice and innovation for the company

Skills and experience required

Qualifications and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, PR, Marketing, or related field
• 5 years’ experience in Marketing, PR, or Product Management in organizations of similar size or field, preferably with SaaS marketing experience.
• Outstanding level of communication, strong writing, presentation development and delivery skills – with a strong appreciation of storytelling
• Proven organizational and project management capability – multiple projects at any time e.g. across events, thought-leadership and social media activities
• Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
• Experience and proficiency of social media (Hootsuite), email marketing automation platforms (Pardot) and Salesforce
