The Opportunity
This entry-level position is a hybrid role where the candidate will be based out of the Wilmslow office but will have the opportunity to work remotely as well.
As an Associate Editor at Envision Pharma Group (EPG), you will be mentored in the art of editing, including proofreading, copyediting, formatting, and styling a variety of scientific materials for publication or presentation. You will work on several client/product accounts to get to know the whole division and all types of deliverables. The materials that come through your hands will disseminate new medical data and information to health care professionals and, ultimately, will help to support the best practice treatment of patients globally.

Key responsibilities

The Role:
How you will make an impact at Envision Pharma Group:
• Proofreading and copyediting scientific content, including complex charts and graphs.
• Reviewing artwork or on-screen content for optimal layout.
• Becoming familiar with and applying relevant style guides.
• Working with account team colleagues to manage editorial workflow.
• Managing own workload to complete tasks to the highest standard, and within agreed deadlines.
• Briefing Creative team on project requirements.
• Acting as the liaison between scientific team, account management team, Creative team, and production team for assigned projects.

Skills & Expertise
• Exceptional English language skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary) and a demonstrable interest in a career in editing.
• Exceptional eye for detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

Strengths & Behaviors
Are you?
• A positive and proactive “can-do” attitude.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat editing tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Skills and experience required

• Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent experience. A scientific background is not a requirement for this role.
