Environmental Policy

Purpose
Envision Pharma Group (EPG) is committed to minimizing the environmental impacts of our business operations and maintaining our resilience to environmental risks and impacts.

Our commitments

  • Decrease Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 55% by 2030, based on a 2022 baseline
  • Reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions from business travel by 52% per full-time employee by 2028, based on a 2023 baseline
  • Procure 100% renewable electricity by 2030 through energy attribute certificates (EACs) or securing landlord utility agreements
  • The top 75% of EPG’s suppliers (by total associated Scope 3 GHG emissions) to set science-based target (SBT)-aligned GHG emissions reduction targets by 2028
  • Comply with all relevant environmental legislation, and where possible, work toward going beyond minimum requirements
  • Achieve a recycling rate of 50% by 2028
  • Regularly assess and implement opportunities to reduce natural resource consumption and enhance efficiency across our operations and supply chain, in close collaboration with our suppliers
  • Promote low-impact travel by encouraging virtual collaboration, optimizing travel schedules, and prioritizing sustainable transport options to minimize emissions associated with business travel

To meet our commitments, we will:

  • Annually review EPG’s policy and performance against our commitments to ensure they remain relevant and allocate resources for effective direction and implementation
  • Educate and communicate internally and externally to bring people along on the journey (including our Supplier Program)
  • Raise awareness internally and externally of our environmental impacts
  • Monitor trends using published data, reports, and voluntary disclosure platforms for our business clients
  • Continue to strengthen, refine, and analyze our data to assess trends and areas to improve
  • Report on our environmental performance, monitor our contribution to adverse environmental impacts, and put in place appropriate actions for mitigation
  • Continue to integrate climate-related risks into our broader risk management framework approach, with formal reviews conducted at least biannually

This environmental policy represents our position on environmental issues and the policies and practices we will apply in conducting our business. This environmental policy applies to all our operations across our global footprint. EPG operates from landlord-owned and operated premises. Where we have control, we will implement our reduction strategy and where the responsibility lies with the Landlord(s) or Suppliers, we will work on an improvement plan in collaboration.

The ESG Steering Committee shall provide oversight of environmental efforts within the organization. All employees can help incorporate this policy’s aims and targets into their everyday roles at EPG by helping facilitate awareness around the impact of day-to-day actions.
