Elevate your career with Envision Pharma Group! Due to growth, our Elevate division is hiring an Account Director with publications or medical communications experience for a leadership role.

Position summary

As an Account Director, you will act as lead for your assigned account(s), and work in close partnership with our leadership team, as well as your account management and scientific team colleagues. You will have the opportunity to provide input into key decisions as the agency grows, being responsible not only for delivery of existing business, but also for contributing to the growth and development of the business and the internal team for long-term success.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Effective independent management of all client relationships on your assigned accounts (adapting to client style, SOPs and needs as required)
• Responsible for directing a $2M account portfolio covering multiple projects
• Work closely with Scientific Lead(s) to develop, modify and implement a range of deliverables (including demonstrable ability to provide strategic planning support)
• Work with Divisional Leads to ensure proper resourcing for work plans being managed
• Accountable and responsible for all budgeting, invoicing, and forecast management for assigned accounts
• Strategize solutions to implement work plans that meet revenue targets
• Accurate development of all materials prior to client distribution (including agendas/meeting minutes)

Skills and experience required

Skills and experience required:
• 5+ years of experience working in a client-facing, relationship/account management role in a medical communications agency environment, including considerable experience as an account lead
• Experience leading large programs, preferably in a global environment and gained across publications or medical communications deliverables
• Experience growing accounts successfully
• Experience mentoring and/or line managing others with ability to motivate teams to deliver
• A thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical medical affairs landscape
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
